The name Aspers comes from the legendary conservationist John Aspinall,  animal park owner and founder of Aspinalls Club in Mayfair, London.  John Aspinall held the UK’s first gaming licence. One of the principal partners behind the development of Aspers is his son Damian.

As well as cities like Newcastle and Northampton, Aspers is situated on the Wind Street in Swansea. It opened its doors here with a big bang  in september 200 bringing a new world of entertainment to Swansea. If you ever come to Swansea this is the place to visit, as it offers a wide range of entertainment. Inside Aspers there is a gaming area with two floors. where you can enjoy a great range of casino games of your choice.

  • Three card poker
  • Two way hold’em poker
  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Punto Banco
  • Slots

If gambling isn’t your scene then every weekend Aspers will host regular live acts as well as caberets.

If it’s fine dining your looking for then  Clarys Restaurant is just the place to be with their choice of a la carte meals, or if its just catching up with  friends then Harrys Cafe bar or Tanzibar would be ideal where cocktails and a wide range of lunches are served throughout the day. You’re real spoilt for choice if you fancy a bite to eat.

Aspers offers a wide range of facilities for any party or function. They can cater for groups of up to 150. Choose from a drinks reception,  buffet or a full sit down meal. A wide range of entertainment is offered from live vocalists, DJ and disco or a casino experience package.

After a night out in Swansea I like to come to Aspers at the end of the night for a little flutter on the roulette table and abite to eat. The feeling you get when your number comes up is just fantastic. It is located on the Wind Street ,its so easy to find you just can’t miss it.

Binge Drinking

•April 26, 2010 • Leave a Comment

A recent letter in the Evening Post said

The problem lies with the bars and pubs that encourage drink promotions such as drink all that you can for £10 offers. or 20 shots of vodka £20 deals.

The writer thinks that if pub managers are not prepared to stop the sales irresponsible drink promotions then revoke his or her licence.

Lots of places on Wind St do these cheap drinks I think it does cause murders because I feel the same when I drink too much
